Marzemino is an important wine, full-bodied, with great character; visually it has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections; its aromas and flavors will amaze you: an enveloping bouquet of vanilla, derived from prolonged contact with wood, of red fruits, plum, and finally a tantalizing acidity that will make it explode in the mouth with all its power.

Marzemino is an important wine, full-bodied, with great character; it appears with an intense ruby red color and violet reflections; its scents and flavors will amaze you: an enveloping bouquet with hints of vanilla, resulting from prolonged contact with wood, red fruits, plums, and finally a stimulating acidity that will explode in your mouth with all its power.

This wine is truly unique, besides being Francesca's favorite... and by tasting it you will discover why! It is produced only with Marzemino grapes from the unique Marzemino vineyard in Refrontolo area; this grape variety is a clone that is rarely considered by producers due to its low but peculiar productivity.

For about 20 years we have been conducting tests and experiments to increase its yield while maintaining its peculiar characteristics unchanged: a particularly uniform ripening, one of the most intense colors, an alcohol content of about 13 degrees, a slightly herbaceous taste and an important salinity given by the soil. The vinification is traditional; then a part of the wine continues its refinement in steel tanks, while the other part undergoes aging in oak barrels for about 24 months during which the wine harmonizes.

From bottling, it can be enjoyed for the next 8/10 years.
