From the grapes of the youngest vineyards, the first to be harvested, this fresh Lugana is perfect for an aperitif. The name comes from springs found during the vineyard planting preparations.
Blend: 100% Turbiana di Lugana D.O.C.
Soil type: morenic with combinations of calcareous clays, rich in mineral salts
Vines per hectare: 5800 n/ha
Harvest period: mid to late September
Harvest method: manual in crates with two passes, from young vines
Winemaking: stainless steel
Aging: in stainless steel for seven months, of which about six on fine lees
Alcohol content: 12.0% - 12.5%
Ideal for an aperitif, fresh and easy to drink, with a bursting aroma. The color is a pale straw yellow with distinct greenish reflections.
On the nose, it has good intensity, showing evident and pleasant notes of grapefruit and unripe strawberry, as well as a slight hint of graphite. In the mouth, it is dry and gently balanced while maintaining a characteristic freshness.
