VITIUM

VITIUM

VARIETY • Turbiana 100% (Trebbiano di Lugana)

COLOUR AND AGEING • In the glass, this Lugana presents itself in its straw yellow color with greenish reflections, reminiscent of the youthfulness of a wine from the 2017 harvest that aged for several months in steel and then in the bottle.

NOSE • Immediately, tropical scents of pineapple and banana emerge, followed by a pleasant and fresh citrus note of cedar and yellow orange. As the wine warms slightly in the glass, vegetal hints of chamomile become more perceptible along with a memory of powdered sugar even though the residual sugar content is 0 g/l.

PALATE AND FOOD PAIRING • The high acidity, which makes the mouth salivate from the first moment, enhances the drinkability during an aperitif. The slightly bitter finish makes this wine very suitable to accompany fresh but not trivial dishes like tagliolini with coregone fish or malfatti pasta with herbs, as well as a more structured and aromatic course such as shrimp tortelli with fresh cherry tomatoes and basil.

MINIMUM ALCOHOL CONTENT • 13% vol
