Venturelli - Chiaretto

Valtènesi Chiaretto is a new and more rigorous interpretation of an oenological exclusivity from the Brescia Riviera on Lake Garda. Made only from red grapes.

Also known as the "one-night wine" because historically, to obtain its characteristic pink color, it was left in contact with its skins for one night.

In the cellar, we start with a delicate pressing of the whole, freshly harvested grape clusters. We use cryo-maceration overnight to obtain the intense aromas and delicate color of this wine, then the grape skins are separated. Fermentation takes place at a controlled and constant temperature, followed by a prolonged aging of about 6 months in barrel and bottle, which allows the wine to develop the scents and flavors that have characterized it since the past.

At sight, it appears salmon pink in color, on the nose it is captivating revealing scents of strawberry, banana, almond, and rose. On the palate, it welcomes the flavors anticipated by the aroma, displaying a brilliant balance between acidity and fruitiness, with a unique savoriness. It has a very long, harmonious finish, making it perfect for complex pairings.

This wine is suitable for aging for 2-3 years.
