Located at 60/80 meters above sea level, South-Southeast exposure in chalky and clayey soil, in the southern area of Lake Garda in Desenzano d/G.
Harvesting Method
Mechanical harvesting, delicate in full respect of the grape integrity with rapid transfer to the cellar. Late harvest at the end of October.
Aging
12 months in 2500 L oak barrels for 50% of the volume and the same in tonneaux. Then blended and aged for 6 months in the bottle.
Winemaking
Destemming and maceration on the skins for 8/10 days in steel. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is racked and pressed, undergoes malolactic fermentation, and matures in oak barrels and tonneaux.
