RED WINE
100% Bellagna
La Bella, a wine produced from an indigenous vine variety from Capriano del Colle, which was registered in the national vine varieties registry in 2014. Formerly known by the name "cagna" grape, later renamed "Bellagna" grape, from which our wine takes its name, La Bella. Characterized by a late harvest, usually taking place after the first half of October.
Subsequently, the wine rests for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels, in order to fully express its potential. It represents the strong point of our company for its potential, character, and typicality that distinguishes it and makes it a gem.
Almost impenetrable ruby red color with garnet reflections.
On the nose, spicy and balsamic notes appear (such as eucalyptus), pronounced hints of red fruits (like ripe prune pulp), licorice, and coffee powder.
While on the palate, the good alcohol content gives way to a graceful sense of spices and gentle tannins.
Pairing: hearty dishes of red meat such as stews on polenta, traditional dishes, and aged goat cheeses
Serving temperature: 16 – 18 °C Alcohol content: 14%
