

The Botticino DOC Pià de la Tesa is produced with 35% Barbera, 35% Sangiovese, 20% Marzemino, plus 10% Schiava Gentile grapes as prescribed by the production regulations. The vineyard is located in the municipality of Botticino on a high hill (about 400 meters above sea level), in the center of the Botticino hills amphitheater, where the nature of the soil and the particular microclimate create a favorable environment for the vineyards.
