Capriano del Colle DOC Marzemino
100% Marzemino, traditional from Monte Netto
To establish its origin, we used the dialectal name of this grape variety because we are largely the land that hosts us. The Renaissance agronomist Agostino Gallo, in a sixteenth-century writing, reports how the area of Monte Netto was particularly suitable for the cultivation of Marzemino grapes. In 2001, a study with the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Milan brought to light the local biotypes of Marzemino from Monte Netto.
