Benaco Bresciano Marzemino IGT “El Dos”

This grape variety has remote origins on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda. The Marzemino grapes are hand-picked and vinified using traditional red wine techniques, with a maceration period of seven days followed by fermentation with selected yeasts and maturation and refinement in steel barrels. The velvety and intense red color is accompanied by a harmonious aroma of "spirited" berries and a spicy and slightly herbal note. It pairs well with red meats, structured dishes also based on game, the typical Brescia-style spit-roasted meat, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16’-18’, decant and oxygenate 20 minutes before serving.
