Ca Maiol - Rosso G.Cl.Negresco
The choice of this name is linked to the famous hotel on the French Riviera "Hotel Negresco" in Nice.
The grapes of Negresco come from the most prestigious vineyards located in Valtènesi, cultivated with Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera grapes, capable of producing, after a long fermentation on their skins, a modern yet temperamental wine. The resulting product has a powerful structure that allows it to mature for about 18 months in selected 225-liter French barriques, acquiring refinement and completion of nuances, taste, and aroma.
The Negresco wine represents the first "red" expression of Cà Maiol, with its first label in the vintage year 1988.
