PRODUCTION AREA: Morainic hills south of Lake Garda, municipality of Cavriana, Loc. Campagnolo.
SOIL TYPE: Morainic, sandy-gravelly, slightly limestone.
ALTITUDE a.s.l.: 100-130 m
TRELLISING SYSTEM: Guyot.
AGE OF THE VINES: 5-20 years, yield per hectare about 50 q.
VARIETIES: 100% Merlot.
HARVEST: Manual in crates at the end of September - October.
WINEMAKING: Selection of the best bunches and overripeness on the vine. Fermentation with submerged cap for about 10 days and subsequent maceration for about 2 weeks. After racking, natural malolactic fermentation takes place. This is followed by aging for 12 months in French oak barriques.
BOTTLE AGING: In the second year after the harvest, commercialization after 12 months of bottle aging.
