Armea - Morus
MORUS
MORUS
VARIETAL • Typical blend of Garda Classico: Marzemino, Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese.
COLOR AND AGING • Aged for several months in steel tanks and then bottled, it presents itself in the glass with a bright ruby color that fades towards violet, reminiscent of the grapes from which it comes, but above all of its young age.
NOSE • Immediately, vinous notes reach the nose, that typical aroma you smell in the cellar during the harvest, accompanied by floral scents, particularly violet, and fruits: plums, cherries, and currants.
PALATE AND FOOD • In the mouth, the tannins are delicately rough and make the wine enjoyable with fatty products, an appetizer of cured meats and fried dough, or a dish of macaroni with fresh cherry tomatoes, eggplants, and cacioricotta cheese. The acidity is well perceptible and hints at a continuous improvement in drinking experience if the wine is left in the bottle for 2/3 years, although losing over time those notes of freshness and crunchy fruit.
MINIMUM ALCOHOL CONTENT • 13.5% vol.
