VARIETAL BLEND • Rebo (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), and dried Marzemino (15%)
COLOR AND AGING • A wine of bright red color, not too deep, aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
AROMA • Bringing the glass close, one is first struck by a hint of sweet spice, followed by a fruity note of cherry. Oxygenation in the glass releases Mediterranean scents of thyme and marjoram, eventually transitioning to smoky and toasted bread aromas.
TASTE AND FOOD PAIRING • The sip is full and long, almost chewy, suitable for a flavorful dish such as wild boar tagliatelle or beef tagliata.
MINIMUM ALCOHOL CONTENT • 14.5% vol.
